Do you find it hard to make yourself go to the gym? Do you not have enough time to work out? Well you’re not alone there are hundreds of people that feel that way, including me. There are some times that I just lose all the motivation that I once had to work out and this could be from numerous different reasons but one thing to remember is to look at what you have gained from this. Ask yourself why did I start working out in the first place and try to remind yourself of your goal. Yes, you may be tired but the longer you wait in the day the harder it is to pull yourself to go to the gym to a point when it becomes too late. So, the best thing to do is if you are busy take a small break even if it is just an half an hour keeping up the routine is what is important and try to go when you first come to think about it. You may think about working out and think oh well I can do this later but this is how it starts. Have any of you ever felt like working out but thought you could do it an hour later and never got to it?

I have not stated exactly what I have been doing when I have been going to the gym and working out. I have been spending about half of my time working with Cardio and this consists of about 10 minutes jogging on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the elliptical. I then weight lift and try to work out a little of every muscle for the next 30 minutes. I decided this would be a good start in setting up my workout schedule from research I have previously done before starting. Even though I have not been able to post to blogger as much as I would like for the most part I have been working out every other day. Most of the research states that it is best to do both Cardio and weightlifting. Just doing one will not be as beneficial. I do find out that after working out I have been feeling better. The hardest part is pulling me to actually go to the gym. This from past experiences has proven to stop me in the past. The question is what does it takes to motivate you so you can pull yourself to go to the gym?

When traveling the motivation of working out is really being put to the test. Going home or going on spring break can impact your workout in a bad way. Even if there are workout facilities to go the travel is just exhausting. I found that out first hand when I went on spring break. It becomes very hard to keep up with my workout routine. I had to actually change the days I worked out which is not ideal. My motivation was. If you do not feel like going to the gym and where you go does not have a workout facility then there are many different kinds of workouts that can still be done. You can do push-ups, sit-ups, squats, planks, or even jogging outside if it is nice outside.
